ZEN

Introduction

ZEN is an NTRU-based key-encapsulation mechanism derived from DAWN. Its design combines zero-divisor encoding, double encoding, and polynomial-ring arithmetic to pursue compact ciphertexts and efficient computation.

   Zero-divisor encoding

   The encoding structure reduces noise amplification within the underlying NTRU encryption scheme.

   A second encoding layer provides redundancy for correcting errors at the group level.

   The design includes bit-based sampling and optimized polynomial inversion for constant-time implementations.
